Former Westborough Little League President Patrick D. Macomber passed away in March of 2022, leaving behind a long legacy of community service to the town of Westborough. A lifelong resident, Pat raised three boys in town, all of whom were very active in youth sports growing up. Pat spent countless hours volunteering, making sure that every child to come on the baseball/softball fields had an amazing experience filled with fun, learning and competition. 

In his honor, Westborough Little League is proud to announce the Patrick D. Macomber scholarship. Awarded to one Westborough Little League AAA Baseball player each season, this scholarship will recognize a player that demonstrates strong sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the season. We will ask each coach to nominate a player and then the coaches, along with the commissioner, will select the recipient.

The 2022 recipient will be recognized on Saturday June 11, 2022 during our end of season celebrations.
